Our Impact

Since 2017, National Bail Out has been committed to fighting for a world where carceral systems are unimaginable solutions to social problems.

In 2025, National Bail Out and partner organizations bailed out Black mamas and caregivers across the nation in Atlanta, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; Dothan, Alabama; Durham, North Carolina; Houston, Texas; Jackson, Mississippi; Kansas City, Missouri; Los Angeles, California; Memphis, Tennessee; Nashville, Tennessee; New York, New York; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

We’ve granted 13 Black-led organizations $1,065,000 in bail, $195,000 in short and long-term supportive services, $130,000 in organizational support, and bailed out 68 Black mamas and caregivers.

In 2024, National Bail Out and partner organizations bailed out Black mamas and caregivers across the nation in Birmingham, Alabama; Little Rock, Arkansas; Oakland, California; Miami, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Prince George's County, Maryland; Detroit, Michigan; Kansas City, Missouri; New York City, New York; Bridgeton, North Carolina; Durham, North Carolina; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Houston, Texas, and Lubbock, Texas.

We’ve granted 18 Black-led organizations $1,966,900 in bail, $475,000 in short and long-term supportive services, $288,000 in organizational support, and bailed out 151 Black mamas and caregivers.

In 2023, National Bail Out and partner organizations bailed out Black mamas and caregivers nationwide in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas.

We’ve granted 13 Black-led organizations $2,899,820 in bail, $453,000 in organizational support, $780,000 in short and long-term supportive services, and bailed out 156 Black mamas and caregivers.
